Today, children from Year 1 to Year 6 all enjoyed an Anti Bullying theatre production and then our Y3 children enjoyed some workshops. This is part of our Anti Bullying Week work which will be continued next week.

As part of our Rivers unit in Geography, Year 5 and 6 went on a trip to Quarry Bank Mill in Manchester. We carried out a river survey on the River Bollin (a tributary of the River Mersey). We looked at the flow of the river to determine where the current is fastest - we discovered that the outside of the river always has the fastest current, even if the river meanders. Year 6 took part in a sustainability workshop to learn and discuss ways to keep our world safe and protected for future generations. Year 5 had the opportunity to use compasses and maps in an orienteering lesson. They navigated their way to different places at Quarry Bank Mill. What a great day!
