A massive Thank you to our fantastic Head Boy and Girl who accompanied me to the opening ceremony for the new Wythenshawe Park Play area. They represented Baguley Hall beautifully.

Hair Today ...

With the help of some lucky raffle winners, Miss Robinson cut off her hair in school on Tuesday the 12th July during morning assembly to donate to The Little Princess Trust - a charity that makes wigs from donated hair for boys and girls who have been through chemotherapy.

This is a fantastic charity and something she has been growing her hair for, for nearly two years!

If you would like to donate to the charity, please find the justgiving page below.

Well Done and Thank you Baguley Hall!

Onesie Wednesday raised more than £526.38 for Wythenshawe Hall. Amazing. On Friday 17th June, Sima and I  joined representatives from all the other Wythenshawe schools who took part in Onesie Wednesday for Wythenshawe Hall. We presented the cheque, an incredible £6,027, to the Friends of Wythenshawe Hall. Our Local MP Mike Kane was there to extend his thanks to all of the children and their families on behalf of Wythenshawe Hall.

Christmas Jumper Day donations to Barnabus Charity Supporting the Homeless.IMG_2677(1)

Barnabus is a charity in Manchester that helps homeless and vulnerable people.

Emily and Buddhima reported back:

When we arrived we got all of the donations and met Adam (who works there.) We learnt all about Barnabus and its history. Did you know that Barnabus has been working with homeless people for 26 years?

We hope that Barnabus and the local people keep up the good work.
