The Governing Body of Baguley Hall Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Catering Manager to lead our catering team.

You will be employed directly by the school and will have full operational responsibility for the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food standards and food hygiene regulations. 

You should hold or be working towards a Level 2 qualification in food preparation and cooking, or equivalent.

You will be responsible for planning a balanced, nutritious menu; organising theme days and ordering stock. 

Experience of working in a kitchen environment is essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

The Governing Body of Baguley Hall Primary School are looking to appoint additional Lunchtime Organisers to care for the children during their midday meal and to help oversee suitable activities during the lunchtime break.
 

 We are looking for someone who: 

  • Can communicate well with children and adults
  • Has the ability to supervise young children
  • Can encourage positive play and behaviour
  • Has a commitment to the safety and safeguarding of children
  • Will attend to minor first aid needs of the children in accordance with school policy. This may include recording minor accident and ensuring that relevant staff are informed and ensuring that more serious accidents are brought to the attention of the First Aider.
  • Will have flexibility in working with different age groups
  • Is happy to work outdoors and indoors
  • Has a calm, positive and happy attitude
  • Is able to form good relationships and work co-operatively within a highly effective team

The school office can be very busy and the successful candidate will need to be able to co ordinate and manage their tasks to ensure completion within timescale.

The Governors seek to appoint an enthusiastic and hard working cleaner to join our friendly team.

Main Purpose of the Job: 
To clean the building to a high standard ensuring that it is a pleasant environment for visitors and staff.
 
Duties will include cleaning, buffing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning and other general domestic cleaning duties.
 

We are looking for someone who has the ability to:

  • work as part of a team or individually.
  • develop good working relationships with all contacts.
  • carry out cleaning functions and associated duties to specified standards.
  • use building cleaning materials and equipment in a range of situations (training will be provided where necessary).
  • work flexibly and to undertake any other duties that contribute to the delivery of the School’s services. 
  • work compressed hours during the school holidays
