Campaign Meeting
Children from Benchill,Haveley Hey, Newall Green and the Willows primary schools joined us to discuss the issue of air pollution and plan a campaign to address this challenge.
The children wrote a message to share:
Please help us make the air cleaner. You can:
- walk, cycle or scoot to school
- turn off your engine while waiting in your car
Walking to school benefits your child's learning, as well as the health of your family and everyone else in our community.
Article 12 of the UNCRC states that every child has the right to an opinion and for it to be listened to and taken seriously.
