ShoeShare: RRSA and Clarks

The ShoeShare initiative gathered old or unwanted shoes to raise money for UNICEF to help all children, no matter where they are or what is happening around them, to access their right to education (Article 28 of the UNCRC).

To date, the partnership has raised over £1.5 million, helping children around the world access education (click on the blue link to find out more from the UNICEF web-site.)

Our school donated over 150 pairs of old and used shoes that would otherwise have gone to landfill.

This campaign also links to our Eco-Council's work to encourage our school community to re-use and re-cycle our resources.
